Terms of use
Using StillIce Studio without losing common sense
These terms describe what you can expect from the site and what we expect from you when you read, download or use StillIce Studio materials.
1. Acceptance of the terms
By accessing or using StillIce Studio you agree to follow these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not continue to use the site.
The site is intended for adults who are capable of making their own decisions about time on the ice and about mental-health practices.
2. No medical, psychological or safety advice
StillIce Studio talks about focus, tension, fear and calm in the context of ice fishing. Nothing on this site replaces medical, psychological or professional safety advice.
If you have concerns about your mental health, physical condition or the safety of the ice, always consult qualified professionals in your region and follow official safety instructions.
You are responsible for judging ice conditions, weather, gear and your own capabilities before you step on the ice.
3. Personal use of drills and tools
All exercises, cards and printables on StillIce Studio are designed for personal use or for small, informal groups (for example, your fishing partners or family).
You may download, print and copy the materials for your own sessions as many times as you like, as long as you:
- do not sell them as your own product;
- do not present them as professional therapy or coaching;
- do not remove credits that identify the project.
4. Content and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, all text, layouts and graphics on the site are part of the StillIce Studio project. They are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
You may quote short passages with clear attribution and a link back to the site. You may not copy large parts of the site, re-host the full set of printables or build a commercial product that is essentially StillIce under a different name.
5. Acceptable behaviour on the site
You agree not to use the site in ways that could harm the project or other visitors, including but not limited to:
- attempting to break or bypass security features;
- sending automated requests that overload the server;
- trying to inject malicious code or manipulate content.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We cannot guarantee that every exercise will fit every person or that the site will always be available without interruptions.
You are responsible for how you use the information here and how you apply it in real conditions on the ice.
7. Limitation of liability
Within the limits of applicable law, StillIce Studio and its authors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the exercises provided here.
This includes, for example, lost catches, broken gear, cancelled trips or disagreements in your fishing crew.
8. Changes to the site and terms
The project is experimental and may change over time. We may update, remove or rearrange content without prior notice. We may also update these terms to reflect new features or legal requirements.
When we change the terms, we will update the “last updated” date below. If you continue to use the site after changes take effect, it means you accept the new version.
