Privacy & data notes
How StillIce Studio treats your data and your notes
StillIce Studio is a mental fitness project for ice fishing. It is built to keep your head lighter, not to collect as much data as possible. This page explains what happens behind the interface.
1. What this site is
StillIce Studio is a concept site about mindset, focus and calm during ice fishing sessions. It is not an online shop, not a booking platform and not a social network. There are no public user profiles, comments or accounts.
Because of that, we try to keep the amount of personal data involved as small as we reasonably can.
2. No log-ins, no personal profiles
You can browse the entire site without creating an account or sharing your name. We do not offer registration, log-in forms or social sign-ins.
Any mental notes, trackers or printable cards you use are meant to stay with you: on paper, on your desk or in your own files. We do not see or store the content of your private logs.
3. Technical logs from your browser
Like most sites on the web, our hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs. They usually contain your IP address, browser type, approximate region, requested pages and timestamps.
These logs are used for security, performance and basic troubleshooting only – for example, to detect suspicious traffic or to understand when something on the site is broken.
4. Cookies and analytics
StillIce Studio may use light-weight analytics to understand which pages are visited and how often they are opened. If cookies are involved, they are used only to:
- remember basic preferences, such as language or theme; and
- count anonymous visits and page views to see which drills and articles are useful.
We do not build behavioural profiles, and we do not sell, rent or trade analytics data to third parties.
You can usually disable analytics and third-party cookies in your browser settings. The site should remain usable even with most tracking blocked.
5. Contact and feedback
If you get in touch with the project (for example by email), your message will naturally include the address you send it from and any other data you decide to share. We use this information only to respond to your request and to keep a basic history of the conversation.
You can ask for your messages to be deleted from our mailbox at any time. If you do, we will remove them unless we are required to keep them for legal reasons.
6. Your mental notes, logs and printables
Most StillIce Studio tools live on paper or on your own devices: printable cards, strips, trackers and logs. We design them so that you can keep sensitive information completely offline.
We do not collect copies of your completed sheets, and we cannot see what you write in them. Treat them as you would treat a private journal: store them somewhere safe and only share them with people you trust.
7. Links to other sites
StillIce Studio may sometimes link to other resources: safety guidelines, articles or videos about ice conditions and mental health. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your data.
When you follow an external link, the privacy rules of that website apply. If you are not sure, check their policy before sharing any information.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have specific legal rights regarding your personal data (for example, the right to access, correct or delete it). Because we intentionally keep the data footprint very small, these requests are usually simple:
- you can ask what information we hold about you, if any;
- you can ask us to correct or delete messages you previously sent; and
- you can ask to stop receiving any further communication.
9. Changes to this page
If we change how the site works or add new features that affect privacy, we will update this page. The “last updated” date at the bottom will tell you which version you are reading.
